Privacy Policy

Last Updated: August 28, 2026

1. Introduction

Akros Anti-cheat LLC ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of our users and enterprise partners worldwide. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect data through our website (www.akros.ac), our desktop applications, and our embedded SDK solutions.

2. Information We Collect

We categorize the data we collect into two distinct streams to ensure transparency and security:

  • Website Data: Information collected when you visit our website, including contact form submissions, cookies, browser type, and IP address, used primarily for site analytics and communications.
  • Technical Telemetry: Data collected by our anti-cheat software. This includes kernel-level logs, hardware identifiers, process lists, and memory integrity telemetry. This data is strictly utilized for the purpose of maintaining competitive integrity, detecting unauthorized modifications, and mitigating security threats to the software environments we protect.

Technical and Kernel-Level Telemetry

Anyone installing our desktop application, or playing a game integrated with our SDK, must explicitly acknowledge and consent to the following exact parameters before execution:

  • Game account IDs, names, and session information
  • Hardware details and unique system identifiers
  • Operating system version and configuration
  • Game-related files, memory regions, and loaded libraries
  • Running processes, drivers, and injected modules
  • System activity relevant to gameplay, such as network access and file operations
  • File paths and names, including your OS username
  • Screenshots during gameplay
  • Historical data about previously run programs or processes
  • In-game input such as mouse movement telemetry, keyboard key press/release telemetry

3. Purpose of Data Processing

Akros Anti-cheat LLC collects data solely for the following business purposes:

  • Detection and prevention of unauthorized software, hardware, or modifications.
  • Protection of competitive integrity within gaming environments.
  • Mitigation of security threats (including, but not limited to, DMA attacks and memory manipulation).
  • Operation and improvement of our software services.

4. Data Sharing, Disclosure, and Global Compliance

Akros Anti-cheat LLC maintains a global operational standard for privacy. We do not sell personal user data under any circumstances. We maintain a strict policy of data minimization, collecting only what is necessary to ensure the security and integrity of the environments we protect. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Legal Compliance: When required by law, regulation, or mandatory legal process in any jurisdiction where we operate.
  • Service Delivery: To authorized partners who require limited, specific telemetry to maintain the integrity of their own gaming platforms, always under strict non-disclosure and security agreements.
  • Global Privacy Standards: As a global software provider, we adhere to all governing privacy laws applicable in the countries where our services are utilized, including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and the California Consumer Privacy Act/California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA).

5. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

As a California-registered entity, Akros Anti-cheat LLC complies with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). California residents have the right to:

  • Request Access: Know what personal information we have collected about them.
  • Request Deletion: Request the deletion of their personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions.
  • Opt-Out of Sale: Confirm that we do not sell personal data.

To exercise these rights, please contact our privacy compliance department via the contact information provided on our website.

6. Storage, Retention, and Security

All collected data is stored in secure, restricted-access environments utilizing industry-standard encrypted transport (TLS/SSL) for all data in transit.

  • Data Retention: We maintain a strict data retention policy that is in full compliance with the governing laws of all countries in which we operate. Data is retained only for the duration necessary to fulfill the security purposes for which it was collected or as mandated by regional regulatory requirements.
  • Security Protocols: Given the kernel-level nature of our software, we adhere to high-security protocols designed to prevent unauthorized access to telemetry and to protect the integrity of our detection systems.

7. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this document will reflect the most recent changes. Continued use of Akros services constitutes acceptance of these updates.
